Alyssia Lee is a
co-founding partner of
Benford Brown &
Associates, LLC.
Alyssia has devoted a
substantial portion of
her career to providing
audit, accounting, tax
and consulting services
to companies within many
different industries,
including the
not-for-profit,
government, and
high-tech manufacturing
industries. As a result,
Alyssia has acquired
several advanced skills
such as internal
controls auditing,
payroll processing,
large accounting systems
installations, and
individual and corporate
taxation.
Alyssia is a licensed
CPA in the State of
Illinois. She is a
member of the American
Institute of Certified
Public Accountants,
Illinois CPA Society,
and National Association
of Black Accountants.
Alyssia also serves on
the board of directors
for several
not-for-profit
organizations including
the United Way Programs
and Allocations
Committee, Bolingbrook
Police Pension Board,
Bolingbrook Chamber of
Commerce (Treasurer),
and Bolingbrook Rotary
International
(Treasurer). Alyssia
accepted the award for
2005 Bolingbrook
Entrepreneur of the Year
on behalf of the
Bolingbrook office.
Alyssia has worked as a
senior auditor at
Deloitte & Touche LLP
and in various audit and
management positions at
Motorola, Inc. While at
Motorola, Inc. Alyssia
served on the Regional
Advisory Board and was a
leader in the
implementation of
Motorola’s SAP payroll
system. She also has
audited Motorola
internal controls as
well as implemented
policies and procedures
for Motorola’s
operations.
Alyssia earned her
Bachelor of Science in
Accountancy from Florida
